The Database Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive database support and analysis for the annual fund, major and planned gifts, marketing, communications, and events for Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. The Database Coordinator is part of a high-performing team that together, implements a comprehensive development program of identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, major and planned gift donors and prospects for restricted and unrestricted needs in support of the University’s mission. The Database Coordinator under the leadership of the Vice President of Strategic Advancement and the direct supervision of the Director of Development primary responsibilities are related to the University’s donor management system, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge software and other software products to identify donors and to conduct prospect research.
Four (4) years of database management required
At least five (5) years of project management experience preferably in development, donor data management and developing donor communications.
