The Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) Global Digital Eco System Team is newly set up with the goal of creating a value added digital experience for our clients. We will harness the full power of our people, data, and local resources to maximize customer value in support of our strategic priorities. Our global team will be responsible for driving initiatives which will add incremental value for our clients through creating a digital eco system with Citi's digital assets and external partners. We are focused on delivering sustained, long-term business benefit to CCB by accelerating our progress towards being an industry-leading digital commercial bank.
The Business Manager of CCB Eco System platform will work closely with the Head of CCB Global Digital Eco System to deliver the vision for a truly remarkable Commercial eco system. The successful candidate for this high impact role requires knowledge of commercial/corporate client's needs, expertise in building or shaping online strategies for banks, familiarity with external eco systems and exposure to bank and CX/UX technology. The individual will provide leadership and expertise in defining the scope and vision of the platform and work with internal and external partners to deliver this client facing platform. Our goal is to create a leading commercial bank platform which would be a key significant differentiator for Citi.
Key responsibilities include:
Define the overall vision for the platform in conjunction with CCB Regional partners, internal product partners and clients
Continuously enhance the platform with client value added assets, which would include enabling Citi's online assets and potential partners
Engage with technology partners, Citi Fintech and other external providers to determine the best approach for the development of the platform
Create a framework for continuous development of the platform. i.e. a global prioritization framework
Ensure that the team is a proactive conduit between Citi's Global Consumer Bank (GCB), Commercial Bank (CCB) and Institutional Clients Group (ICG) to maximize Citi's holistic position
Work closely with ICG/GCB product and functional teams to leverage the best practices and resolve any duplications/conflicts
Create a construct for obtaining continuous client feedback and ensure that the development framework incorporates this feedback as the key consideration
Assist in evaluating the external competitive environment for bank online platforms and other allied eco systems

12 - 15 years of management experience in Transaction Banking, Commercial Banking or Consulting with expertise in financial services and knowledge in partnerships and Fin Tech
Having developed platforms or ecosystems will be a definite advantage
In depth knowledge of financial services, digital commerce, payment industry
Superior relationship management skills
Demonstrated success in managing internal and external partnerships
Successful track record of executing deals
Prior P&L management experience, strong financial acumen and ability to think strategically
Experience leading cross-functional / matrix teams, through a clear and consistent line of sight regarding critical work activities
Experience managing virtual teams
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred / JD (legal) background an advantage
