Salary Range: dependent upon experience and qualifications
This position will report to the Director of MEDIA and requires a number of curricular development, technical, and personal skills. This position will work collaboratively with faculty, students, staff, and other departments at the university to develop simulation content, support objective structured clinical examinations, and provide lead oversight and support for all simulation educational software platforms for the purpose of skill development and assessment in the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
Education and Experience:
Position requires previous experience in healthcare simulation training. Demonstrated proficiency in digital video recording and automated backup systems.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in pharmacy education -Project management experience -Knowledge of the CAE Learning Space system -Knowledge and proficiency with Windows OS (10,7) and Mac OS X, -Knowledge of video recording technology -Formal training in educational theory, instructional design, and/or teaching strategies -Previous research and/or teaching experience highly desirable -Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)
