In your role as Assistant Product Manager, you will support, manage, and help direct product management activities for the global kaolin organization (EVI). As such, this position will work across a global organization in efforts to maximize growth, development and return on investment of the product portfolio.

Formula for Success
Applying your project management skills, you will support and/or lead asset effectiveness and portfolio optimization projects which will aim to optimize profitability while leveraging production efficiencies.
Utilizing your business savvy and financial acumen, you will monitor key performance indicators and identifying/recommending corrective actions. (e.g. product/portfolio profitability, freight reviews, pricing variance, pricing volume curves).
Leveraging your education in a business or a technical field , you will Drive contract life-cycle management to help facilitate risk management and optimize margins by monitoring contract trigger points (natural gas settlement, price adjustment mechanisms, freight, etc.). An advanced degree will be considered an asset.
Your knowledge and experience in product management, sales, marketing, or similar, will be vital as you lead global harmonization of utilization of PMM: pricing execution, and pricing process(es). Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to sales for pricing execution and resolution of pricing discrepancies.,
Leveraging your prior experience with Pricing and Margin Management (PMM), you will lead/coordinate global efforts while maintaining key accountability for Americas pricing records and publishing quarterly/monthly formula pricing for select Industrial and Paper accounts
Your strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills will be essential as you engage cross-functionally (e.g. manufacturing, sales, supply chain, customer care) and across regions (Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific) within a face-paced dynamic environment
You will successfully drive efforts to further customer relationships though collaboration with sales by resolving customer issues/request (e.g. EHS, freight rates, quality) and though monthly product management publications to sales and channel partners.
