PROJECT MANAGER , Office of the Executive Vice President and Treasurer (EVPT) , to provide project management expertise to support key advancements of particular importance to the Office of the EVPT. Will work collaboratively across the areas reporting to the EVPT through the executive director to oversee a road map of ongoing enhancements to the Atlas Service Center and Atlas online as well as for future system and process modernization projects; provide project management for newly launched initiatives and task forces under the auspices of the EVPT; track and assess the overall progress of systems projects more broadly across the EVPT areas to keep the executive director and EVPT apprised of progress and to leverage cross-functional opportunities; staff the Administrative Systems Steering Committee (ASSC) and monitor the progress of ASSC-sponsored projects; and act as liaison to the MIT community to gather input related to ongoing projects, programs, events, and meetings as needed. Will report to the EVPT's executive director.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree; a minimum of five years' relevant project management experience; proven ability to plan, manage, and execute system and process improvement projects with an eye to improving the user experience; ability to build relationships, work both independently and as part of a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills, including the ability to foster collaboration and build consensus across diverse constituencies. Project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum desired; as is experience in a technology environment and experience in or an understanding of the academic setting.
