Program Coordinator College of Allied Health Science, University of Cincinnati
The College of Allied Health Sciences Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Nutritional Sciences is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Program Coordinator. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.
Provide administrative support to the College of Allied Health Sciences Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Nutritional Sciences and other academic units where needed.
Interact with staff faculty, external agencies, and other University departments
Maintain departmental files, including electronic storage
Coordinate departmental meetings and events
Record and distribute departmental meeting minutes
Respond to program related inquiries (written, in-person, by telephone, by email) from students, faculty, staff, and the public
Assist and participate in program preparatory and onsite accreditation activities
Assist Department Chairs, Program Directors, and faculty with travel arrangements
Provide administrative support to graduate program admissions committees
Course ordering, classroom scheduling, and curricula management via University systems such as e-Curriculum and Catalyst
Management of course evaluation process, including ordering course evaluations, dissemination, collection, and archiving
Maintain departmental information on College of Allied Health Sciences website
Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires; compile statistics and prepare reports
Assist with project management functions
Perform related duties based on departmental needs
Bachelor's degree with at least one (1) year of experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years of experience; -OR- five (5) years of experience. Experience must be in program coordination.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Strong technical skills including a high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Aptitude for learning new software and programs is desired
Ability to interact successfully with individuals and groups at all levels for the institution
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and demonstrates strong organizational skills
Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability, and resourcefulness
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
