Responsible for daily operation, audit-compliant delivery, and administration of the Meter Data Management System (MDMS) Program and associated procedures for acquiring, translating, validating, analyzing, estimating, editing, and tracking meter data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely availability for multiple internal and external users.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Training and/or equivalent experience in the areas of electric utility meter data management systems and meter data analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Ability to apply principles and practices of information technology and computer information systems, including hardware, operating systems, and software applications, software troubleshooting, quality assurance and security, relational databases including queries, tables, functions, and stored procedures.
Ability to effectively identify, investigate, and resolve MDM system problems and meter data problems.
Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of demand and energy meters, recorders, and associated metering circuits, and instrument transformers.
Exemplary organizational skills.
Ability to apply project management processes, tools and techniques.

Two (2) to eight (8) years of progressive related experience in operation and administration of Meter Data Management Systems, electric power and energy metering data analysis and assurance.
Training and/or equivalent experience in the areas of electric utility meter data management and real time monitoring and control systems.
Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can perform all of the essential functions of the position.
Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours as required.
Willingness to travel to attend meetings, conferences and training as required.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or other related field.
Previous experience with Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE) or similar enterprise MDM system
Experience with information systems server and network implementations, modifications, operations, and maintenance
Knowledge of DNP3, ICCP protocols, and electric utility real time monitoring and controls systems
Project management certification
