The IT Facilities Technical PM is responsible for highly complex project planning and management, business and advanced systems analysis, project budgeting, implementation and on-going management of key IT initiatives. Initiatives include the assessment and management of high profile projects with considerable impact on IT and the Medical center Organization and a advanced understanding of the the interdepencies within the highly complex facilites delivery initiatives.The position primary function will be to work with Expert PM on IT initiatives associated with Facility projects such as new construction, technology upgrades, and network deployment.REQUIRED-Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Relevant PM certification or education (PMP or equivalent), or equivalent experience.-Experience as Project Manager independently leading large scale, enterprise-impacting IT Facilities/Hospital Construction Projects.-Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and other tools in the Microsoft Office suite. -Experience with AutoCAD.-Experience with Cabling (Copper & Fiber), Telecommunication Rooms, UPS, and DAS systems.-Experience with Cellular, Wireless, Overhead and Pocket Paging technologies.-Experience with multiple Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Network, Servers, Client, Storage, etc.).PREFERRED-Experience with IT technology in an Academic Medical Center environment.-Experience with IT technology in a clinical environment.-Experience with integrated multi-vendor environments.-Experience leading projects with contractors/consultants.-Knowledge and understanding of Health System and University policies and procedures.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT-THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
