The Non-Financial Risk Division is a newly created team, which combines the functions of Operational Risk, and Information and Resilience Risk Management (IRRM). This covers Business Continuity (BCM), Technology and Data Risk, Information Security, Vendor Risk, Product Governance and Reputational Risk. In the Americas, the NFR team is approximately 50 FTE.
The NFR Governance/Reporting, Americas AVP will report directly to the Head of Americas NFR Governance and Reporting. You will have experience in Risk Management, risk reporting and governance frameworks across a range of stakeholders with responsibility to deliver on regional NFR reporting requirements, reporting standards for the NFR governance fora and administration of governance fora. This includes reporting across the Americas NFR Council, the Management Risk Committee and Legal Entity Boards specific to Non-Financial Risk. Additionally, NFR Governance/Reporting AVP will handle regulatory adherence ensuring that new/revised laws and regulations are properly assessed for applicability for NFRM Americas by subject matter experts and the audit/regulatory items owned by NFRM Americas are on track for completion by target dates.
Experience in Risk Management or Financial Services
Experience in Risk Management Reporting or other Reporting at the Board Level and for Senior Management
Understanding and application of US Regulations
Proven ability to work within a large complex global organization
Experience of working across business lines
Ability to form relationships and capitalize upon them to achieve tangible objectives
Highly self-motivated; robust decision making capability and agile within a changing environment
Project management skills to ensure that all remediation initiatives are on track
Excellent written, communication, administration, presentation (proficiency in PowerPoint is a must) and strong organizational skills
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
