This position is responsible for the developing and overall managing of 20+ clinical trials inclusive of managing multi-site projects within the Interventional Radiology Department. Responsibilities of this position include: development of new studies along with the leaders of IR, implementation of a structure in which these studies can be seamlessly activated and executed, oversight of clinical coordinators and research nurses, interaction with the many stakeholders in diverse departments across the Medical School and beyond, and initiation and maintenance of a clinical database. The Clinical Research Manager will manage the life-span of these projects, facilitate regulatory approval of new and ongoing clinical studies, coordinate a multitude of clinical and translational researchers, facilitate communication amongst these researchers, and provide quarterly reports on their progress.
