BAE Systems, Minneapolis, MN has an IMMEDIATE need.
This position is responsible for all planning and sourcing activities required to assure continuity of supply for their assigned program. The majority of this program will require International subcontracting. Activities include request for proposals/quotes, analyzing costs and the ability to write a price and/or cost analysis, lead negotiations, and place compliant purchase orders according to internal procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and executing subcontract agreements and proactively managing all contract deliverables.

Lead and advise in the strategy, design and issuing of bids (RFI, RFQ and RFP) while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Analyzing quotes and writing a detailed price/cost analysis.
Create and execute supporting agreements (PIAs, Letter of Subcontracts).
Ability to lead formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements).
Execute existing commodity/category strategies to include ongoing development of savings.
Manage contract deliverables and supplier performance.
Performing subcontract closeout actions, complete file documentation, and transfer files accordingly.
Preparing reports and contractual correspondence.
Typical Education and Experience:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills and Education:
International Subcontract Management experience
Working knowledge and/or experience with import/export licenses
Advanced degree and/or certification in CPSM, CPM, CIPS or CFCM
