The Executive Director of Campaign Management plays a meaningful role in supporting the success of our next campaign. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development, and working closely with the office of the Vice Chancellor, this position builds programs and operational structure to support future fundraising campaigns.
Co-facilitate and support strategic and operational campaign planning.
Serve as the primary project manager for the Campaign and coordinate various strategic initiatives.
Ensure that fundraising efforts are holistically supporting the university’s stated goals.
Gather, disseminate and coordinate data, track landmarks and measure progress on priority activities. Facilitate campaign planning committee meetings, sub-committees, project work, and all logistics.
Act as the liaison with campaign counsel, Grenzebach Glier and Associates.
Work in partnership with campus leadership and school/college/unit development officers to establish, monitor and track progress toward campaign goals.
Work in collaboration with the Advancement Marketing and Communications team on major campaign marketing projects and collateral. This includes internal communications strategies to keep colleagues across campus informed of campaign progress and status. Manage project timelines, workflow and deadlines for campaign case statements.
Provide campaign forecasting and tracking and prepare and deliver campaign reports that analyze campaign progress at all levels.
Minimum of six years of experience in progressively responsible development leadership positions in many functional areas such as individual giving, institutional giving, planned giving, stewardship and board relations, and participation in a major capital campaign, preferably within an educational institution, or other environment of similar complexity.
Strong personal integrity and work ethic, with the ability to collaborate with teams
Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.
