The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Senior Director of Administration for the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research.
The Senior Director of Administration will provide strategic oversight, project management, and management of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research's immediate team and will manage and provide strategic direction on day-to-day administrative, project management, operational, and overall oversight of office-wide operations and continuous improvement efforts for the SVC.
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree, minimum of 10 years of experience, and exhibit significant, progressive experience in a management or supervisory role. Must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, communication, and organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to act as a supportive partner to the Senior Vice Chancellor, operating independently and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to appropriate presentation and detail. Demonstrated successful experience in project management and in working with University policies, procedures, and leadership is strongly preferred.
