The EMEA Benefits Team is responsible for the management, monitoring and development of the Employee Benefit Programme in the UK, with oversight of all plans in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The team operates across all business lines and is assisted by an outsourced service centre that is responsible for the administration of the UK Flexible Benefits Programme. The team continues to focus on meeting its key objectives of increased appreciation of the value of employee benefits, continual development of flexible benefits to be competitive as well as the control of costs. This is coupled with a focus on managing the governance of the European benefit plans.
To support the management and operation of the Flexible Benefits programme and platform, reporting to Head of EMEA Benefits. Primarily delivering the employee flexible benefits offering as well as operational duties, along with ad hoc employee benefits tasks and projects.
Review industry best practice and legislative updates to inform Firm benefits policy.
Review and propose enhancements to all benefit processes
Manage the flexible benefits systems, administration, reporting and data reconciliation.
Responsible for managing vendors and processes and associated change control, version control on an on-going basis.
Responsible for co-ordinating and reviewing written communications associated with benefit communication campaigns.
Responsible for contract arrangements and associated negotiations liaising with external employee flexible benefit providers.
Co-ordinate contract renewals for benefits and support the team.
Co-ordinate the onboarding process for new vendors and support the team
Support day to day operational management (including responding to complex employee queries) and renewal of employee benefit plans including Lifestyle, Pension, Protection and Health and Wellness benefits.
Responsible for delivery of ad-hoc employee benefit projects.
Responsible for preparing and delivering written proposals for benefit plans.
Responsible for implementing new benefits where relevant.
Responsible for preparing Firmwide presentations.
Manage the delivery of Flexible Benefits Annual Enrolment and any other enrolment windows throughout the course of the year.
Support the team in the delivery of broder benefits projects as and when necessary.
Employee Benefits experience is ideal but not essential, preferably within the Financial Services industry or similar.
Knowledge of current and prospective employee flexible benefits issues and associated legislation.
Comfortable working in a dynamic organisation and be able to work independently at pace.
Team player – must be willing to "pitch-in" and assist where necessary.
Common sense approach and proactive.
Innovative - the type of person who is continually looking to improve what they do and the way that they do it.
Ability to think on their feet.
Ability to manage their own workload and prioritise what they do – multi-tasking ability essential.
