Responsible to the Chief Branding Officer to guide all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative team and ensuring all collateral adhere to university branding; lead a creative team, develop creative guidelines, and direct creative work which includes, but is not limited to print collateral, digital collateral, branded assets, and marketing campaigns; use creative expertise to interpret visions to create tangible and deliverable products; monitor workflows and schedules through all project phases from development to completion; responsible for creating original designs and graphic images for use in multimedia platforms; and performing other related duties as assigned.
This position will create proposals, pitch ideas, and overall ensure projects are completed on time. This person will ensure team members meet deadlines, lead brainstorming sessions, lead sessions to conceptualize ideas, and assign projects based on skills and demand, while also tracking time and quality of products produced.
Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the university objectives and advance the university's brand strategy. Establish creative direction for the university to meet branding objectives. Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies. Lead and direct the creative staff in the production of all marketing collateral. Review work, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to creative team members. Determines project content by reviewing and approving artwork and design. Collaborate with internal constituents to generate ideas to support university goals and branding. Meet with constituents to explain creative strategies and solutions. Assist in hiring and training creative personnel.
