As a Network Analyst, you will be a part of the bank’s Network Operations team. This role provides technical support and consultation for dedicated and switched local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN), virtual private network (VPN), routers, and Cisco Unified Communications system. Additional responsibilities include: • Define and provide technical consultation to internal clients (including management) on technical issues. • Provide support in problem resolution to the FCB Help Desk for any network issues. • Assist with the development, planning, implementation, support and administration of all digital carrier services and routing/switching equipment platforms. • Run performance monitoring tools to assess the performance of various network components and develop recommendations to address service issues. • Troubleshoot and resolve problems plus communicate updates to management. • Run performance-monitoring tools to assess the performance of various network components as well as develop and implement recommendations to address service issues.
Associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of data, voice or converged networking experience with at least 4 years in design and project support. -OR- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6years of data, voice or converged networking experience with at least 4 years in design and project support.
Additional Requirements: • Advanced Data Center Troubleshooting and configuration. • Nexus OS & Cisco IOS experience. • Load Balancing experience. • Wireless (802.11x) experience. • Solarwinds IPAM experience. • DNS/DHCP/NTP experience. • Wireshark/packet aggregation experience. • Routing EIGRP, BGP and OSPF experience. • Extensive knowledge and experience with carrier digital network services, routing and switching design as well as communication hardware platforms and network protocols. • A combination of excellent network services and equipment technical skills, (data/voice routing and switching, facility provisioning, etc) professional maturity, and an overall understanding of the bank's business. • Knowledge of converged networking (VOIP, IP Telephony, etc) services and applications.
Other Preferred Qualifications: • First Citizens Bank IT experience. • CCNA, CCNP, CTP certification. • Advanced Cisco focused day to day operational support.
