PROJECT COORDINATOR , Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES)-Neuroscience Statistics Research Laboratory (NSRL) , to be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of research projects focused around advancing the science of understanding general anesthesia. Will work collaboratively to oversee the operation and integration of all research projects within the NSRL; support the brainstorming of future projects; conduct literature reviews; draft and edit manuscripts; create presentations; synthesize, draft, and present research results; write/edit materials for wider lab and community use, e.g., newsletters and website; organize/oversee events/conferences/symposia; serve on new hire interview and onboarding teams; develop and support new initiatives; support other researchers' work and design and complete independent research; respond to information requests; and perform other duties as assigned. The work will involve collaborating closely with laboratory leadership to continually assess and direct a wide range of issues such as research program operations, personnel management, regulatory matters, quality improvement, long-range planning, and program development and implementation.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or related social science field; a minimum of three years' administration/operations and/or project management experience; meticulous attention to detail; initiative and independent judgment; excellent organizational, writing, editing, and communication skills; comfort presenting to different audiences; ability to handle multiple priorities from multiple sources and work both independently and collaboratively with different people as part of a team; and discretion with confidential information. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe (Illustrator), LaTeX, and website editing preferred. Job #17180
