Policy and research analyst in Executive Department of top trade association supporting CEO and Executive Vice President. Responsible for materials for key policymaker and industry meetings as well as policy issue tracking and industry development monitoring. Support all Board of Directors’ communications and preparations for Board meetings and industry events. Administrative duties include day-to-day support for Executive Vice President. The ideal candidate has strong written and communication skills; is a self-starter who is dependable, energetic and has an interest in public policy with familiarity in wireless/FCC/telecom policy. Must have eye for detail, creativity and design.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for Executive Department materials and presentations for internal and external policymaker and industry meetings and events. Materials include industry research and analysis as well as policy tracking.
Assist in managing and creating Board of Directors communications for CTIA Board meetings and events.
Represent the executive team to staff, member companies, Board members, and other industry executives.
Provide day-to-day support to the Executive Vice President. Duties include scheduling, expenses, travel, and project management.
Candidate must be flexible to work overtime, as needed.

Well developed organizational and research skills and ability to ensure all projects are completed on tight time schedules is required. Familiarity with wireless/FCC/telecom policy preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat. Strong Internet research and computer skills are required. Familiarlity with survey/polling tools preferred.
Education and/or experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University - 2 to 4 years of experience preferred.
Detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Strong writing and proofreading skills are required.
