Under the direction of the Dean of Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies, the Executive Director of Undergraduate Studies provides unity and streamlining of Petrocelli College's undergraduate degree and certificate program curricula. The Executive Director interfaces with undergraduate program directors to monitor curricula for consistency and appropriateness, and supervises the qualifications and assignments of undergraduate instructors. The incumbent is also responsible for recommending new undergraduate programs and seeing them through from idea creation to implementation. Works closely with the Dean on special assignments impacting Petrocelli College's undergraduate degree and certificate programs. The Executive Director takes the lead in improving efficiency and operational systems within undergraduate programs.
In addition, as a member of the Dean's management team, the Executive Director participates actively in Petrocelli College strategic planning.
1.Master's degree required; doctorate preferred.
2.Prior leadership experience in an academic environment. Experience related to development and implementation of new degree programs, curricula review and evaluation, and/or analysis of enrollment trends preferred.
3.Strong analytical and project management skills.
4.Ability to take assignments from start to completion with little supervision.
5.Ability to monitor operations of an undergraduate office for efficiency and follow through.
6.Ability to identify operational weakness and recommend and implement successful solutions.
8.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with faculty and administrators.
9.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
