Detailed Job Description The College of Art and Design invites candidates to apply for the position of Photographic Facilities Coordinator. This is a salaried position that reports to the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences (SPAS) Operations Manager.
Manage and monitor large-scale equipment loan operation and associated checkout database that primarily supports the School of Photography but also provides secondary support to the entire College of Art and Design.
Oversee and manage daily operation of all SPAS facilities. This includes studios, computer labs, darkrooms, equipment cages, audio and animation labs.
Direct supervision and management of approximately 45 student employees. Includes hiring, scheduling, evaluating, and time card maintenance and approval (Kronos)
Directly responsible for management and maintenance of all SPAS facilities and equipment. This includes troubleshooting, evaluating, and basic preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Primarily a day shift position, but nights and weekend support are sometimes required
Oversight and management of the Media Integration Center (a studio that produces videos and instructional media pieces for in-house use and marketing support)
A member of a larger facilities support team for the college. Teamwork, collaboration, sharing of resources, and backup support are core to the operational success of this team.
Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree, preferably in imaging or a related field
Competent with computers, peripherals, digital imaging equipment, and related support software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, and organized with good attention to detail.
1 3 years imaging experience
1 3 years management experience
