Taking a leadership role in the execution of internal and external communications, you will lead the way TMF Group connects its 6,000+ employees and 34,000+ clients across over 80 countries.
Multiple languages, cultures, acquisitions, platforms and processes will present their own challenge and this role will be at the forefront of devising and executing a consistent approach across all locations. Internally, you will lead a regional internal communications capability with the ability to drive understanding of our purpose, strategy, values, financials, key transformation programs and news. Externally, you will lead our approach to brand, content, PR and support on investor and analyst relations.
This is a highly visible role that will report directly into the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with the CEO, Executive Committee, Leadership Team, Managing Directors and key stakeholders across the business.
You will lead the communications function, with all internal and external communication professionals reporting, ultimately, to you.
You will own and manage the communications budget and manage all people related issues within your function.
You will be responsible for the company executing an internal communications strategy, suitable for a global organisation.
You will the guardian of the brand, ensuring it is embedded, protected and utilised to its potential with a clear roadmap for its future development.
You will take our content to new heights, building upon our clients' thirst for local knowledge and insights that will help them do business across the world.
You will define our PR strategy, establishing TMF Group as a credible source of business expertise with news outlets globally.
You will play a lead role in continuing to upgrade our sales content, ensuring it is fit for purpose in today's competitive marketplace.
You will support the CFO with our investor and analyst relations capability.
You will have proven experience of leading and managing geographically dispersed communications teams for a complex, global organisation.
Proven experience in developing and coaching people/teams in a global matrixed environment.
Significant proven experience of working in communications and a strong knowledge of trends, best practice and the marketing mix.
Experience supporting global marketing campaigns.
Competent and confident in dealing with the media.
You will be able to influence the actions of the organisation's most senior leaders; in-country, regionally and globally.
Strong interpersonal skills and good presenter - able to make recommendations with gravitas and inspire confidence from others.
Excellent planning and organisational skills; good project manager.
Ability to deal with conflicting agendas and fluctuating priorities.
Strong understanding of organisational development an, communications psychology and people motivation.
Thorough understanding of communication planning and in depth knowledge of the range and variety of communication channels and processes to ensure that the right communication reaches the right people at the right time.
Flexibility in approach to work and able to work with minimal supervision to plan and prioritise your own work and the management of your function.
Knowledge of services orientated industry is valuable though not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing and proof-reading skills.
Experience in scoping, building and developing intranets and content management tools would be an advantage.
Stamina, courage, and personal and professional authority.
Available to travel as required.
