Department Overview: Established in 2017, the National Center for Equitable Care for Elders (NCECE) is a program of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston MA within the Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology. NCECE is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through a National Training and Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement (NCA). NCECE's mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of older adults by leading the efforts in training more geriatrics providers, improving integrated health care for chronic conditions and integrating enabling social services into health care delivery.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), NCECE's Communications Coordinator is responsible for designing and facilitating the dissemination of accurate and informative program-related marketing materials to a wide range of internal and external contacts.
This individual will work independently and as part of a team, take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; proactive nature and readiness to communicate by email and telephone; Strong composure, integrity and trust, time management, flexibility, attention to detail, comfort dealing with ambiguity, relationship building, humor, technical learning, team player, action oriented, perseverance, priority setting, self-development and nimble problem solving preferred
This position is a term appointment funded through June 2020 with the possibility for extension.

5+ years of related work experience is required; a combination of education and experience may be considered
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), social media platforms, content management systems similar to Drupal or WordPress, email marketing tools, and database systems preferred.
Familiarity with graphic design and photo editing software preferred.
Experience with digital advertising, including LinkedIn, AdWords, and Google Display Network.
Experience interpreting analytic reports and using results to inform strategy.
Experience with health care settings, especially community health centers preferred.
