The University of Saint Joseph School of Arts, Sciences, Business, and Education, Department of Business Administration, invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Management beginning August, 2019. The rank for this faculty position will be at the Assistant or Associate level, depending upon experience and credentials. The Department offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in Management, an undergraduate degree in Accounting, and an undergraduate degree in Sport Management and Promotion.
The successful candidate should have an earned doctorate in Management, Business Administration, or other business discipline from an accredited institution. Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels and evidence of commitment to scholarship are required. Industry experience is highly desirable. The candidate must be able to teach courses in one or more management disciplines including, but not limited to strategic management, quantitative methods, project management, and operations management. A thorough understanding of technology and computer applications is essential. The ability and willingness to teach classes in a variety of formats is essential.
