This position directs instructional management functions and applicable operational aspects of the Transportation, Construction and Manufacturing Division and is part of the Academic Planning team at the college.
Master's Degree in a related field.
Extensive knowledge of transportation, industry and/or technology fields, understanding of current trends.
Experience as an instructor in a collegiate setting.
Demonstrated success in fostering collaborative working relationships; experience in developing cross-discipline connections.
Ability to balance current programmatic strengths with forward-thinking and aggressive programmatic growth.
Evidence of professional leadership.
Evidence of highly developed interpersonal, communication, organizational and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated skill in curriculum development.
Ability to work in a collective bargaining environment.
3-5 years of experience in higher education.
Doctorate in related field or in Educational Leadership
Experience with campus-wide learning assessment
Experience administering union contracts and other human resource functions
Experience with Learning Communities
Experience with Processes related to Program Accreditation
Knowledge of innovative programs and pedagogy designed to serve diverse, non-traditional, and adult students.
Knowledge of technical college organization, curriculum, goals, vision, fiscal regulations, and procedures.
Evidence of experience using digital concepts/applications in delivering curriculum.
