The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Software Development Intern to support the IT Department. The goal of the software developer internship will be to give full range of experiences with real world applications. The experience will leverage all the abilities needed of a full-stack programmer including but not limited to requirements analysis, process workflow, project planning, database interaction, code development, building user interfaces, documentation, testing and deployment. The end result of which the intern can experience the impact of their efforts and come away with a better knowledge of what their preferences are with regards to a career in software development and where more training or research might be needed.

We are looking for Interns who meet the Following Criteria:
Outstanding academic record
Two references, preferably from academic advisor or faculty member of school attending
Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills
Organizational skills and project management skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
Some prior experience in a professional setting a plus but not required
Other criteria will vary according to the departmental objectives of the internship
Working on Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree
Relational database skills required (Can query, create tables, procedures and understand Database concepts and structure)
Object-Oriented programming experience required (C# preferred, but not required)
