McGee Equine is searching for a full-time veterinarian to join our rapidly growing ambulatory practice in New England, located one hour North of Boston. The practice is predominantly equine, but has recently expanded to include other large animal species. Experience with ruminants is not required but is a plus. Routine appointments include preventive medicine, dentistry, sports medicine, reproduction, dermatology, ophthalmology, nutrition and endocrine cases. Practice is equipped with digital radiography, portable ultrasound, Powerfloat, shockwave, endoscopy, gastroscopy, portable centrifuge/printer/laptop. On call duties will be shared with one other veterinarian. Our clientele consists of a great mixture of backyard, pleasure, and performance animals. Practice will provide fully equipped veterinary truck as well as a technician to assist on veterinary calls as needed. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain licensure in MA, NH, USDA accreditation, MA Controlled substance, and DEA controlled substance license. Salary is commensurate with experience.
