ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT MANAGER, SYSTEMS PERFORMANCE AND TURNOVER (SPT) , Facilities-Campus Construction , to be responsible for overseeing the completion of multidiscipline work related to project management of retrocommissioning, energy efficiency upgrades, and energy audit projects of large to small facilities. Will collaborate between groups across the Department of Facilities, the Sustainability Office, and the Environment, Health, and Safety Office; manage, control, and coordinate the commissioning and turnover processes on projects; and provide support for third-party consultants.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, environmental engineering/science/studies, or related field; at least seven years' related experience; strong working knowledge of building project management including the design, construction, and turnover phases; work experience managing multiple small to mid-size and moderately complex design and construction projects; solid understanding of building structures, services and systems installation, operation, and performance as they relate to energy; demonstrated customer-driven focus; exceptional oral and written communication skills; systematic and self-motivated approach to work; ability to work independently and liaise effectively with professional staff throughout the Institute; and high-level quantitative, analysis, and research skills. Must be knowledgeable about the retrocommissioning process; the energy-efficient design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities; and building and energy codes and energy standards.
