Function as a sound and video engineer while attending campus events to ensure all systems are maintained and adjusted properly to provide clear and crisp sound and video for the best possible presentation experience. Perform setup; tear down, testing and sound checks to meet the AV needs of a variety of speakers and events. Serve as an electronic classroom technician. Respond to trouble requests for electronic classrooms and make repairs. Address other electronic learning space installation and maintenance as required.
Experience with analog and digital audio and video transmission systems and an ear for quality sound reproduction. Experience diagnosing and resolving problems with complex AV systems. Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Experience as a sound engineer, broadcast technician, or AV technician in large and/or small venues. Experience with Crestron AV control systems, wireless microphones, video cameras, video streaming, video projectors and a variety of audio mixing boards. Computer repair experience with certification desired.
