Portfolio/Project Management: People Management
Background in Infrastructure and Applications Project Management
Assist with senior management presentations and meeting preparations; and present to senior leadership as required
Interface with teams to ensure adherence to MCIT project management standards and processes.
Support MCIT project intake in Brooklyn, communicating and collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, costs, and resource needs.
Assist in the coordination of multiple project work streams that span all medical center missions and MCIT functional areas
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a BA/BS in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field preferred with 2-5 years of project management experience. 5 years experience managing large complex projects 5 years experience managing and overseeing large project teams
Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification preferred. Ability to work effectively with senior executives. Able to deliver engaging, well-organized presentations. General understanding of SDLC. Strong Verbal and written communication skills. Able to take initiative and drive tasks and projects to successful completion. Experience working on large projects or leading smaller end to end projects. Ability to quickly understand complex subject matters. Ability to work independently and be self motivated. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
