We're looking for a UX/UI Visual Designer with Front-End Development experience to help expand our existing platforms and develop new features and products. Our small, fast-paced teams are responsible for creating innovative software that enhances the experiences of both our internal and external clients. In Boston, our teams build apps that enable the application of the tools of modern data science to commercial real estate in order to analyze and forecast market fundamentals across geographies and property types. These forecasts provide insight as clients evaluate the risks and opportunities that market changes may represent for their investment portfolios.

UX/UI Visual Designer with Front-End Development & Prototype Coding Skills:
As our Visual Designer/Front-end Developer your responsibilities will include designing and building code prototypes to help our users successfully navigate our suite of web applications. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, that includes Software Engineers and Product Managers, to create highly functional software applications for web, desktop and mobile.
Design and create graphic assets for visual UI.
Translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical requirements into designs that are visually engaging.
Work collaboratively with other designers and developers to ensure a consistent, integrated user-experience that adheres to brand standards.
Highly organized, collaborative and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and be productive in a design and agile development sprint environment.
Ability to learn new tools quickly and work in an evolving environment with an interest in visual design field standards and trends.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision and other design tools.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as human-computer interfaces, design, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of the job's requirements. Typically has 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred 2-6 years experience.

HTML / SCSS / CSS, portfolio of existing work, strong communicator, natural collaborator, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, design best practices, data visualization.
Extending a world class forecasting system to enable clients to custom-cast
Developing a data discovery visualization platform that interoperates across apps
Implementing an automated valuation modelling product for hotel owners
