This position is in the Institute for Informatics. The position is located at 4444 Forest Park Blvd. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Provide direct administrative support primarily to the Chief Research Information Officer (CRIO) and to other informatics faculty and senior staff, as needed.� This includes scheduling special projects and special events, senior executive-level committees and day-to-day office operations.� Provide front of house support for the Institute for Informatics.� Assist Institute faculty and senior staff with research, organization, preparation and record maintenance of special projects for the department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages calendar of meetings, lectures and seminars for CRIO.
Maintains records of projects, letters and travel for CRIO.
Provides calendar support for other Institute faculty, as needed.
Maintains office space for visiting faculty.
Provides miscellaneous support to the Project Management Office and Core services senior staff.
Manages conference room space and equipment reservations.
Maintains department email listservs and phone lists.
Researches information, assembles material and prepares special projects.
Distributes department mail and mass e-correspondences.
Answers phone, screens and routes calls providing information in accordance with department policy.
Monitors department supply inventory.
Equivalent of Associate’s degree with 2-4 years of experience in administrative support.
Microsoft office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Experience in university/medical environment preferred.
Working knowledge of computers and general office equipment.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.

The modern healthcare and life sciences environments have experienced a fundamental shift towards trans-disciplinary, integrative, and data-intensive approaches to basic, clinical, and translational research. The hiring range for this position is $18.80 - $23.99 per hour.
