The Corporate Supply Chain Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Project Manager-Supply Chain.
Develops and manages the project portfolio of Supply Chain through sound project management and Lean methods. Champions the advancement and use of Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management through engaging with all parties in Supply Chain from end to end. Works as team member and often leader on projects, develops reports/analytics, leads and assists on operational audits, completes process maps, value stream maps and standard operating procedures. Manages and delivers solutions across business, technical and clinical areas and trains / leads Lean Six Sigma belt programs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Builds project programs and portfolio with sponsor input on defining opportunities and establishing prioritization.
Reports on project and program progress.
Documents projects, risks and lessons learned.
Serves as liaison between clinicians, facility, and corporate departments as appropriate.
Serves as project manager or backup for assigned projects: plans/runs meetings, manages agendas/minutes, tracks tasks, issues, and action items, escalates risks and issues as necessary, and drives projects to completion.
Serves as a mentor to other project leads to assist in moving the project management culture forward.
Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
Provides documentation of project progress using UHS selected project management toolsets or creation of project toolsets as needed.
Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.
Provides on call after hours support as needed.
Gathers data required for assigned projects.
Assists with event planning and management for large project events.
Travels to facilities as needed in support of project management's responsibilities.
