The TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health at the University of Chicago is launching in 2019 a multi-year community-wide demonstration project, through which the TMW Center and community partners will implement parent-directed interventions designed to promote young childrenâ™s cognitive and social-emotional development at scale. In support of this, the TMW Center is designing and building a TMW Tech Platform that will deliver TMWâ™s interventions, facilitate intervention delivery by providers, and collect data to power program evaluation and further development.
The TMW Center is partnering with a human-centered design firm to lead the design and development of the TMW Tech Platform in a manner that will promote its longitudinal use by parents and providers in the health and early learning sectors. Additionally, the TMW Center will also partner with an informatics team internal to the University of Chicago to support the ongoing use of the Tech Platform and its integrations with other data systems such as hospital/clinic EHRs and community agency systems. To support the development, testing, and use of the TMW Tech Platform, the TMW Center seeks a Research Specialist II to serve as the TMW Tech Platform Coordinator. The Coordinator will schedule and facilitate testing of the TMW Tech Platform through its development, secure permissions for the Platformâ™s use by external partners, and provide regular support to users. The ideal candidate is people oriented; able to communicate complex ideas in simple ways to diverse audiences; has experience working with diverse stakeholders, particularly in clinical settings; and has interest or experience in using technology for health promotion or to support behavior change.
In close coordination with the human-centered design firm partners, coordinate, schedule, and facilitate UI/UX testing with parents, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Recruit and build relationships with stakeholders for testing.

Manage users on the TMW Tech Platform system, including creating and deleting accounts as needed.
