We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Specialist Engineer.
Configuring tooling and OS parameter after build
Troubleshooting any technical issues independently
Communicating delivery schedules with the stakeholders and escalating timely whenever risk found
Arranging the Change Management Process by following bank policy
After hours work maybe required base on the Change policy or project requirement
Ensure all the inventory are updated correctly
Ensure all the deliverable meet quality standards
Arranging vendors to perform hardware installation and perform on-site inspection upon completion
Ensure service deployed according to Cyber Security and Service Continuity standard
Ensure supporting systems, infrastructure and applications are monitored to detect exception events and ensure timely action to prevent or reduce service degradation or interruption.
Ensure a systematic approach is in place to manage incidents occurring to the Service with the objective to restore normal service or operation as quickly as possible and ensure problem records are efficiently managed, to prevent incidents from occurring and minimizing the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
Ensure the Service utilizes technology that does not put it in a position of obsolescence or non-support from a vendor or vulnerabilities, security threats and viruses,
Ensure patch deployment schedules are created and within timeframes based on patch criticality
Ensure all accounts and associated entitlements are appropriate to the user
May need to work in flexible working hours
Degree Holder in Computer Science or a related field
ITIL V3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management an advantage
Holder of IT Technical certificates such as MCP and MCSE is an added advantage
Track record in server, storage and project management would also be a distinct advantage
Sound knowledge in Windows server 2012 R2 and VMware infrastructure
Knowledge in Cloud Technology an advantage
Previous operation support experience with Intel blade server technology
Well-developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and independent personality with the ability to function effectively in a team
Able to communicate in English
