Required Qualifications and Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Experience designing, developing and testing database-driven web applications
- Experience analyzing and supporting end-users’ needs in custom and vendor-provided systems
- Minimum two years’ experience with SQL, relational database and client-server concepts
- Minimum two years’ experience with report building solution
Preferred Qualifications and Education: - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Tools and T-SQL
- Experience with CRM solutions and associated databases
- Demonstrated skill set in designing, modifying, developing, test, implementing and maintaining web-based applications which interact with relational databases
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML; utilizing and creating web services and APIs in application support and development
- Familiarity with security best-practices in application development
- Adobe ColdFusion experience
- Experience with object-oriented language/framework
- Knowledge of UNIX environment
Responsibilities – Essential Functions: - Participate in a team environment to design, implement, and test application systems that interact with the university’s donor management system.
- Implement vendor software modifications, patches, enhancements and upgrades including programming, job scheduling analysis, and user education.
- Design Crystal report formats and related data sources
- Analyze special user needs, including system analysis, design, and application of modifications to fulfill needs, as well as providing a basis of information and training.
- Project management and analysis involving some staff coordination.
- Work with end-users, team-members, tech support andoperations to resolve production issues as they arise.
- Design, modify, develop, implement and maintain web-based applications which interact with relational databases.
- Utilize and create web services and APIs in custom and vendor application integration.
- Accurately estimate development effort for assigned tasks.
- Ability to contribute towards multiple projects while meeting expected deadlines
- Maintain working knowledge of current technologies while exploring and recommending areas of growth for the team
- Other duties and responsibilities on a part-time or permanent basis as assigned.
