The Project Manager III, under general direction, is customer service centric while managing a wide variety of project activities, including, but not limited to: project schedules, tracking expenses, compiling project budgets, developing teams, and providing regular project status reports and professional stakeholders communication for projects that are generally medium to large in scope.Manage multiple project portfolios simultaneously in line with Information Technology and Project Management Office strategic plans, TAC 216 and project management standards utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
This position typically works Monday-Friday; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. May work beyond normal office hours to include evenings, weekends, and peak times.
Support and drive timely implementation of projects within budget and holding to scope while maintaining a close working relationship with campus stakeholders to elevate the customer experience.
Perform timely and accurate project status reporting to all project stakeholders accomplished through facilitation and leading of various types of meetings and presentations as well as a multi-pronged approach to communication.
Resolve issues, risks, and delays identified by project team members, and escalate to the business owner, executive sponsor, and/or ITS management when necessary for prompt resolution.
Elicit, analyze and document business requirements and processes independently and with team members to include clearly defining the project scope, established strategic alignment, and calculating implementation on ROI.
Manage and build project teams in a matrices environment. Coordinate project resources in conjunction with stakeholders and other project managers.
Manage project quality control and assurance.
Establish goals for project delivery. Apply current best practices in vendor selection, contract negotiation, business analysis, business rationale, and project life cycle.
Performs other related technology duties and projects as needed.

Education & Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree in related field. Seven years of related experience in project management including related supervisory experience.
Knowledge of project management theory and tools.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
Knowledge of mentoring, negotiation skills, basic vendor relations, advanced client relations, business acumen, persuasive communication, team leadership, business process analysis, and quality assurance methodologies.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
