Himmel's is looking for a motivated individual that is experienced in commercial construction detailing. The successful applicant will accurately detail door and hardware schedules and coordinate opening requirements in accordance with the contract documents and local building codes. They would also be responsible for working with the contractor to establish and meet project timelines. An understanding of estimating is beneficial as the responsibilities would also include assessing and providing quotations for change orders as projects progress. The candidate needs to be able to read plans, read specifications and relate necessary information to the product being supplied. Our projects are managed as a team. The role of the detailer is a key role and critical for accurately establishing the correct products and schedule for a projects success. Candidates must be proficient with computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Comsense. Knowledge of Assa Abloy and Stanley Best is preferred. 1-5 years of related experience
Knowledge of Comsense and Microsoft Office
