ITS Digital Services is seeking an experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally customer-focused and excited by the potential of supporting the web development needs of one of the leading business schools in the country, while also joining a dynamic WordPress team within the central IT organization.
The developer will be solely responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of a custom Kenan Flagler Business School website, auxiliary websites, and other web-based assets. This includes working closely with Kenan Flagler Business school staff and the Digital Services team to gather requirements, distill them into workable technical solutions, and create top-notch digital experiences. We are seeking an individual who will have the expertise to innovate the KFBS web presence, but also recognize when enhancements benefit the campus. He/she will act as a catalyst to foster ideas and demonstrate proof-of-concept for new services to improve the digital landscape for the Kenan Flagler Business School and possibly the entire university.
KFBS is always on the forefront of innovation. This position will offer a motivated developer the opportunity to grow and utilize their skills and, in the process, help to innovate our WordPress implementation for the benefit of the entire campus.
Education and Experience:
- Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins. - Experience working with large multisite WordPress networks - 5+ years of PHP experience desired
