The Ohio University Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education is accepting applications for a part-time Aspire Project Manager, projected to begin January 2019.
The Stevens Literacy Center Aspire Grant Project Manager will execute administrative tasks associated with the Aspire Ohio Adult Workforce Readiness Education program located in the Patton College of Education. The Aspire Project Manager will support Aspire program plans and operations in Athens and Hocking Counties, support Aspire program staff, perform administrative tasks associated with student records and data, coordinate Aspire financial activities, support internal and external communications, monitor Aspire timelines, and promote professional development and special events.

Position Responsibilities: - Execute administrative tasks including the management of ABLELink data, preparation of program reports, management of student profiles and records, and coordination of standardized assessment processes. - Coordinate Aspire program operations including maintaining program services calendar, supporting Aspire program orientation, coordinating off-site classroom logistics, managing program inventory, providing program updates to Aspire personnel, supporting special events, and participating in professional development. - Support internal and external communications by sharing program data, creating student recruitment material, coordinating program outreach activities, participating in meetings, exchanging information with Aspire colleagues, maintaining program website information, managing social media communications, responding to program inquiries, and creating mailing lists. - Support Aspire student enrollment by updating and distributing promotional materials, monitoring student attendance, recognizing student accomplishments, informing students of program offerings, and informing students of community services (childcare, transportation). - Coordinating Aspire financial activities including monitoring program budget, purchasing program materials, and translating Aspire budget categories to Stevens Literacy Center budget line items.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in education (or related field) plus one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
