Pay Range: $60,500 annually or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary: The Application Administrator is responsible for analyzing and administering applications that reside within the ITS Enterprise Applications group. This position provides monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of the services that ITS Enterprise Applications provides to the University of Idaho. The position will also work with existing and potential customers to expand the services that ITS Enterprise Applications provide. This position will act as a customer service/support role by providing end user support, training, demonstrations, and documentation/communication with the customers of ITS Enterprise Applications and ITS. This position will also act as a part of the ITS team by providing input and evaluations on technology based initiatives, which will help ITS meet its goals and mission.
• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology field OR a combination of education and experience totaling 7 years • Experience in a customer service role • 2 years’ experience administrating applications, servers, or other IT services • Experience working with Tomcat or other application server technologies • Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server databases
• 2 years experience analyzing customer needs and providing information technology based solutions to meet those needs • Experience working in higher education • Demonstrated Leadership skills • Project Management experience • Experience working with ERP or other large scale Enterprise Administrative Applications.
