Provide on-site technology support for the Carolina Housing. This includes 600 employees in the department spread across 50 buildings on campus.
Service and maintain the physical technology infrastructure of Carolina Housing, including digital signs, televisions, sound systems and other assets as they are needed.
Manage complex projects impacting over 8500 individuals on campus. Coordinate with outside groups to complete these projects in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Research technology trends to incorporate advanced systems in residential spaces.
Manages the life-cycle plan for Carolina Housing and ResNET machines and provides budget forecasting.
Provide leadership on technology hardware innovations for use in projects on campus.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology, computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or - Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Journey level required an additional one year of experience - Advanced level required an additional two years of experience.
