The Communication department of Societe Generale Asia-Pacific is ensuring:
The definition and implementation of the Communication strategy in the region (approx. 8,000 staff across 12 countries), in line with Societe Generale group communication and Asia-Pacific overall strategy and objectives;
The promotion of Societe Generale's brand, culture, values, and business expertise to its internal and external stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region;
The support of its business activities, principally in Financing & Advisory, Global Markets and Investor solutions, Asset Management, and Transaction Banking.
The Communication department consist of a regional team based in Hong Kong and dedicated resources for key regions (China, India, Japan, Singapore for SE Asia). It is organised around the following pillars:

Based in Tokyo, working under the supervision of the Head of Communications Japan, the Communication executive is responsible for creating a seamless and unique brand experience, primarily through the successful delivery of the company's external and internal events, as well as managing the visual identity and brand guidelines activations.
The scope of responsibility also covers assisting the Rugby World Cup 2019 Event Production Manager, who manages and ensures the delivery all staff and client events which are building the main part of the RWC communication plan, defining and coordinating all required internal or external resources.
The position is contractor-based, with a mission until 31 December 2019.
The scope of the mission covers:
Definition and monitoring of the Japan Events calendar
Implementation of the tools to support the event's activity, in alignment with global tools when applicable: events calendar, attendee and budget management, KPIS and reporting
Selection, in collaboration with the Sourcing department, of the appropriate vendors: event organisers, production companies, specific vendors
Execution and delivery of all external and internal events, in coordination with business lines marketing teams for the delivery of client events
Taking briefs and translating objectives into events for SG's internal or external audiences
Orchestration and management of the relevant internal and external resources
Budget management and recharges
Branding, creative & signage
Custodian of brand & visual identity guidelines and ensure local implementation for any usage, internally or externally
Ensure consistent use of brand (merchandising products, marketing, collaterals...) by relaying regional framework, guidelines, and creative delivery
Participate in creative briefs and advertising plan
Support building signage design and implementation
Budget and activity monitoring
Manage and monitor communication budget for Events activity
Follow-up and regular reporting on activity and impact, including permanent supervision, risk control and audit.
The role also implies to assist the other Communication team members as and when required.
Minimum experience of 10 year in event management
Experience of branding and advertising, especially in the financial services industry is a plus
Strong organisational skills
Strong verbal and writing communications skills in Japanese and English
Set and meet challenging deadlines in a fast paced and demanding environment
Ensure that projects achieve objectives, meet design standards, budgets and client expectations and risk mitigation
Strong relationship and adaptation skills: a team player with ability to work with all levels of staff in all business/support functions
