The Center for Literacy, Education & Employment (CLEE) is seeking to hire a full time Project Manager- Coordinator II. This position provides project management and administration of several multi-year contracts at the Center. This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Events Team at CLEE and works with other key staff at the Center to ensure contracted projects are planned, managed, and completed with a focus on timeliness, effective communication and meeting of projects' goals and objectives. This position works directly with contract stakeholders.
Identifies and communicates project objectives, measurement criteria, and creates and manages project plans, which include major project milestones and task dependencies.
Identifies team of individuals who will have accountability for task completion.
Manages projects to ensure objectives are achieved according to measurement criteria.
Upon project completion, reports on results and lessons learned, as applicable, for continuous improvement purposes.
Identifies project milestones and tasks, including dependencies, and defines timelines needed for task accomplishment.
Conducts meetings, conference calls, etc. with internal and external project team members.
Participates in stakeholder meetings and represents interests of the Center as it relates to the overall success of the project.
Supervision of project teams:
Communicates project schedule to team members and has accountability for ensuring the project remains on schedule.
Communicates schedule changes as needed to all stakeholders.
Manages internal and external stakeholders through project changes.
Identifies and manages issues that arise which have the potential to inhibit completion of project tasks in the defined timelines.
Facilitates coordination and management among various contractor/vendor teams, Center, and stakeholder team members.
Ensures project costs are in alignment with project budget.
Communicates to management and clients potential cost increases and obtains the applicable level of approval for additional project costs prior to the occurrence.
