The IAB Tech Lab is looking for a SeniorProduct Manager at IAB Tech Lab to manage Industry Working Groups leading the development of technical standards and software for digital advertising across multiple digital platforms and media. This role is a broad product management role and successful candidate will be matched to specific products based on interest, experience and Tech Lab needs. Key responsibilities include:
Lead Technical Working Groups to create technical specifications and guidelines
Work with other Product Owners across Tech Lab to resolve cross dependencies of specifications.
Work with Engineering to assess technical feasibility for recommending specifications and tools
Work with Engineering to develop product requirements and detail technical design for software tools and utilities
Work with Marketing for distribution of new and enhanced products and specifications.
Socializing the foundational concepts of Ad Technology to both IAB Tech Lab staff and IAB Tech Lab members.
Evangelize the technical standards at industry forums
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining open source code repositories to support shared industry efforts
Developing compliance process for technical standards
Developing FAQs for standards and manage support questions queue
Managing industry working group details in CRM systems
Manage projects in JIRA or other software project management systems
Experience requirements and qualifications:
4-7 years of Product Management experience in digital advertising industry or closely related environment
In depth understanding of Product Management process
Experience and knowledge of working with web technology. Working with mobile platforms – iOS and Android is nice to have
Experience communicating complex technology to company leadership and other audiences. This should include experience both in person and through the creation of documentation and delivering content over web conferences
Experience or knowledge of collaborative standards setting, and internet privacy and security are considered a plus.
Project Management experience a plus.
Experience or knowledge of working with CRM systems like Salesforce desirable
Experience or knowledge of JIRA or other software project management systems desirable
Technical knowledge of github management a plus
