The Accounts Receivable Clerk must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years of accounts receivable experience is required, with at least 2 years’ experience in the construction industry. This AR clerk must be familiar with commonly used terms, concepts and practices within the construction field and be capable of using experience and judgment to accomplish tasks and exercise latitude in a variety of daily duties. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
This position provides assistance to the AR Supervisor to perform construction related accounts receivable functions such as: preparing and setting up payment requisitions for projects that require schedules of values and supporting schedules, coordinating billings and change orders with Project Managers, establishing customer contact regarding billing percentages and receipt of payments, tracking of required paperwork in accordance with terms and conditions, as well as tracking delinquent accounts, collections, incomplete files and credit risks.
