The Schack Institute of Real Estate in the School of Professinal Studies is seeking an Assistant Director to develop, plan and implement global field intensive programs in conjunction with the associate dean. Participate in strategic planning initiatives. Provide administrative support to the NYUSPS Schack Institute of Real Estate by planning and facilitating internal event, serving as liaison with the Wasserman Center at SPS, and serving as advisor to the graduate Real Estate Institute Student Association. Oversee implementation of executive and custom international executive education programs. Supervise staff.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education: Advanced degree.
Required Experience: 5 years related experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience developing, marketing and administering programs and events, supervising staff, and developing and managing budgets.
Preferred Experience: Experience in higher education.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to research, plan, create, and implement new and existing programs and events. Ability to market programs to target groups, recruit, advise, and retain students. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, make strategic decisions, evaluate programs and instructional staff. Ability to provide customer service and manage relationships with diverse populations.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to manage multiple projects and systems with great attention to detail. Ability to communicate ideas and strategies for program growth and sustainability. Ability to work well with multiple personalities and liaise with multiple departments and personnel. Familiarity with emerging technologies including distance learning and digital platforms.
