Department Name: 81050:BIOSYSTEMS & AGR ENGINEERING Job Summary: This position will aid in the successful completion of student projects, research and instruction requiring technical expertise in the field of electrical, computer and systems engineering. Provide practical lab experience to BAE undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of analog electronics, digital electronics, embedded systems, data acquisition, instrumentation, and programming. Design and guidance to BAE faculty, staff, and graduate research assistants. Prototyping, testing, deploying. Compose and present technical literature for seminars, conferences and other publications describing systems built and experiments performed with them.Track, organize and maintain electrical parts and equipment in the department for both research and teaching uses. Order replacement components and materials as necessary. Handle equipment maintenance. Make recommendations on equipment maintenance and replacement. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: Prefer one year of experience: Visual Studio, CAD, Matlab, MS Office, LabView, and broad knowledge of electronics. Position Time Status: Full-Time Required Education: BS Required Related Experience: No experience required. Required License/Registration/Certification : None. Preferred Education/Experience: BS in Engineering, embedded systems design experience, and valid driver's license are preferred.
