The purpose of this position is to perform service related functions that support the daily operations of our client. The primary functions of this position include: planning, scheduling and coordinating functions/conferences, setting up, installing, testing & troubleshooting AV equipment for events and functions such as meetings, presentations, and conferences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the set up/breakdown/troubleshooting of wireless microphones, powered speakers, video screens, LCD projectors, fast-fold projection screens, video monitors, video scalers, video conference items, screen switchers, telepresence devices, recording equipment, video camera in manual mode, analog and digital mixer and lighting equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot A/V issues and do basic repairs.
Act as a liaison between the client and the Business Services Manager concerning the overall requirements for events.
Plan, schedule and coordinate A/V support and space configurations for functions/conferences.
Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with others.
Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Able to perform duties that are repetitive in nature.
Willing to work flexible hours on occasion based on the needs of the operation.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum 2 years of related experience.1-2 years of audio/visual technical experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
A valid state driver's license is preferred.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to work in multiple software platforms and learn and retain technical software applications quickly.
