Assist with Wildcat Club strategic communications, brand management and events for the University of Arizona Athletics Department. The goal of this position is to help tell the Arizona Athletics philanthropic impact story to donors, season ticket holders, fans and alumni and increase engagement across multiple platforms.

Work with the Director of Annual Giving to conceptualize and create a strategic communications plan annually for the Wildcat Club, to include overall brand concept, annual “theme” and brand assets. Oversee the introduction of Wildcat Club specific social media platforms in collaboration with the Athletics Marketing & Strategic Communications teams. Manage social media budget to leverage paid advertising opportunities for further engagement. In addition to the Wildcat Club social media platforms, assist with the A-Club/Letterwinners social media as well (azaclub.com). Responsible for writing all communication pieces, including but not limited to: Bear Down Buzz: monthly donor newsletter Annual Giving Solicitations: email and direct mail solicitations for the Wildcat Scholarship Fund and sport-specific funds Social Media: long-form and social content Design and create collateral pieces for the Wildcat Club which will include: proposals, annual report, capital campaign brochures, informational assets, stewardship pieces, social & digital graphics, hospitality credentials, etc. This position will also manage the relationship with our retained external graphic vendor & the internal Athletics Graphic Design team for additional projects. Oversee the integration of Google Analytics and Salesforce/Paciolan CRM analytics with the Wildcat Club website & social media. Manage and update the Wildcat Club and A-Club websites (wildcatclub.org and azaclub.com), keeping content current and relevant. Position will also manage the relationship with our retained external web vendor. This position will also work with the University of Arizona foundation on the creation of crowdfunding/campaign microsites as well as updates to the Foundation’s athletics-specific pages. Work with the internal Arizona Athletics video team to create unique multimedia content for digital and social media. Some video editing and film work may be required. Provide photography assistance at events, donor trips, campaign projects, etc. Act as the Wildcat Club liaison to the Hall of Champions team on donor events, including but not limited to: pre-game receptions & tailgates, Diamond & Platinum Dinner, Bear Down Bite, regional events, etc. This position will also assist with game day hospitality, to include suites at Football and the Courtside Lounge at Men’s Basketball. Oversight of Legacy Lane orders and installation with the assistance of one (1) intern. Responsible for managing one graphic and digital design intern(s). Additional duties as assigned. |
