The Head of Cataloging & Acquisitions duties, which are located at the Law Library, works with the Director to manage and perform the duties related to the cataloging and acquisitions functions of the Law Library. This position works with the Director to supervise and train staff assigned to work with this position. The Metadata Services duties, which are located at the main University Libraries, focuses on the creation, maintenance, and enrichment of metadata representing the library's digital and virtual collections. This is a shared Law School/University position.

At least 3 years of progressive cataloging experience in a law or academic library, minimum 3 years experience with integrated library systems.
Previous experience with academic library cataloging and metadata creation of material in all formats, including electronic/digital resources. Preferred: Ability to perform basic legal reference, familiarity with legal databases.
